Food

More and more is mentioned in the papers about how harmful junk food is. Obesity, diabetes, heart disease, asthma and cancer are just a few of the things you could be subjecting yourself to. Now that doesn't mean you should never eat any junk food ever again. But it does mean you should be careful about what you eat. It is well known that vegetables such as broccoli are anti cancer. Oily fish is excellent as it contains EPA's, which are good for dyslexic and hyperactive children. Food is also fun. It is a great social event, virtually everything we do with friends or family involves eating. It is part of the enjoyment of the occasion. I hope you all eat as a family as much as you can. Good healthy food can cost more money and a lot of people have little or no time to cook. So it is difficult. But eating healthy food can make such a long term difference; it really is worth the effort. Remember things in small amounts are not only fine but you also tend to enjoy them more.
