Bingo Records who produce children's music have started to distribute CD titles to Red a music retailer. A division of Sony BMG Music Entertainment.
The first releases are the Beatles Hits for Kids and Motown Hits for Kids.
Now I did wonder why you just couldn't play the Beatles and Motown songs to children. But it seems it isn't that simple. Apparently the idea came to them over a family meal with friends while they were listening to Beatles and Motown records. The adults were really into it - no surprise there! But the children were showing only some interest. They thought that if children were singing along in the background as well it would be more appealing. I think this works it does encourage you to sing along and I think that is a really fun.
Some of the voices in the songs sound similar to the Beatles but that is no bad thing. It should hopefully make you eventually move onto the original versions. I do however prefer the original Beatles and Motown versions. I did find some worked really well such as Ob - La - Di, Ob - La - Da and All Together Now. Perhaps the lyrics are suited for children to sing along to. You are sure to be dancing a long to Do You Love Me. This will appeal to everyone whatever their age and is great for children's parties. I guarantee you'll be singing a long in the car, it's so much fun.
